Tour du Loir et Cher

The Tour du Loir et Cher is an international cycling race renowned in the world of professional cycling and considered as a springboard race for young riders before being able to confirm at the highest level. Thus, we find ourselves among the winners of stage stages in the Tour de France or classic races such as Norwegian Thor Hushovd, winner in 1998 or Belgian Philippe Gilbert, second in the 2002 edition.

The race is held over 5 stages and starts in Blois. The riders then cross the Loir and Cher departments. Usually, 20 teams present themselves at the start of the competition.

The 59th edition of the Tour du Loir et Cher from 11 to 15 April 2018

The 59th edition of the Tour du Loir et Cher will start as usual in Blois. 2 stages will be held in the south and south-east of the department as well as another one north of Blois. In total, about 840 kms will be swallowed in 5 days.

12/04 - Stage. 2 : Vernou-en-Sologne - La Ferté-Imbault (200 km)
13/04 - Stage. 3 : Droué - Vendôme (178 km)
14/04 - Stage. 4 : Pontlevoy - Bourré Montrichard (183 km)
15/04 - Stage. 5 : Blois - Blois (97,5 km)
